• Battery completely dead. Was able to jump start ok. Checked alternator. Ok. Charged battery. Vehicle now starts normally. Tested battery. Battery tests good at 832 CCA. Let vehicle sit over night. Started right up this morning with no issues. Most likely something got left on that drew the battery down. No other issues found at this time.
• Perform complimentary multi point vehicle maintenance and health inspection.
• Test alternaor output voltage. Test battery cranking amps and battery cables and connections.
• confirm horn inoperative. visually isnpect horn assembly. Found connector for one of the horns had been knocked loose. The undershield is missing and it looks like the underside of the vehicle has take a few hits. Plugged the horns back in and one of them is working. The other still does not. Will need new horns if customer wants both to work.

• Power steering leak can be fixed with hose clamp, suggest a power steering fluid exchange due to very dark power steering fluid and over due on mileage.
• Road test vehicle. Inspect power steering pump, gear box and or rack pinion for wear. Inspect system for leaks. Flush power steering fluid and replace with new. Recheck connections and mechanisms.

• Check for power out of ignition blue/white wire. Power is present while cranking . Check for power at starter relay while cranking. No power present . Found diode for starting circuit was placed in the wrong cavity. Place starter diode in correct cavity and truck starts . No further repairs needed at this time.

• Verified fuel gauge reads empty. Perform gauge sweep test with the scan tool. All gauges are capable of moving ruling out the instrument cluster. Scan codes. B1202 fuel sender open circuit. At this point the fuel tank needs to be removed for further inspection. Either the fuel level sensor is faulty or there is possible wiring issues above the tank that can’t be seen such as rodent damage. I don’t see any evidence of rodents (scratch marks, nesting material, etc) so likely the sending unit has failed. The fuel level sensor/sending unit is part of the fuel pump.
• Perform complimentary multi point vehicle maintenance and health inspection.
• FUEL PUMP – Remove & Replace – F250 Super Duty, In Tank
• ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT – Remove & Replace
