Saab Repair and Service at Auto Go Automotive

Saab was a Swedish car company that began in 1945, but it originally built aircraft for the Swedish Air Force during World War II. After the war, it was important for them to change their approach in order for the business to survive. That is when they turned to making automobiles. Their first vehicle was the Saab 92, which came into production after the Saab 91 aircraft. In 1989, the Saab car division was restructured, and GM invested $600 million for 50% control with the option to purchase the other 50% within 10 years. They exercised that option in 2000, in which they invested a further $125 million. That investment made it a subsidiary of GM. Although Saabs are no longer being produced, our team of professionals can help you keep your Saab on the road.
